The 5 Best Roofing Companies in Pflugerville, TX (2026 Guide)
The short answer
The five best roofing companies in Pflugerville for 2026 are Ark Roofer, Summit Roofing, Mpact Roofing, Aurum Roofing and Performance Roofing. Three of them have an office inside Pflugerville. Two hold Owens Corning’s top tier and a Texas roofing license. Every number was checked on September 24, 2026.
Pflugerville puts a P in front of things. The Pfarmers Market. Deutschen Pfest. The Pfloating Pumpkin Patch out at Lake Pflugerville every October. Nobody has figured out how to pfix hail.
Three years ago tonight, on September 24, 2023, a storm formed over northwest Williamson County around 7:40 PM and slid southeast down I-35. By 9:20 it was dropping 3-inch hail on Pflugerville. Round Rock took stones up to 4 inches across, softball size. The warning that night named three cities: Austin, Round Rock and Pflugerville. That one storm did more than $600 million in damage, and the two-day outbreak it belonged to made NOAA’s list of 28 billion-dollar disasters that year.
The hail hasn’t left since. Inch-and-a-half stones near Pflugerville in April 2024. Golf balls in Hutto in April 2025. Quarter-size hail again in May 2026. Storm spotters have logged 164 hail reports within ten miles of town since 2004.
Now stack that on Pflugerville’s other number. The median home here was built in 2004. More than half the houses in town went up between 2000 and 2019, during the run that turned a farm town of 16,000 into a city of 65,000. A shingle roof in Texas heat lasts somewhere between 15 and 30 years. A roof from 2004 turns 22 this year. A lot of Pflugerville is coming due at once.
Which brings us to the problem. Angi lists 838 roofing companies for Pflugerville. Texas doesn’t license a single one of them at the state level. So after every storm, trucks with out-of-town plates roll through Falcon Pointe and Blackhawk. Yard signs sprout overnight. Somebody knocks to offer to “take care of your deductible.” The sorting is on you.
That is what this guide is for. We pulled Better Business Bureau records. We checked review counts on Google itself. We verified certifications on the manufacturers’ own contractor pages. And we looked at years in business and what each company actually does. Then we picked the five that hold up.
One thing before the list, because you would figure it out anyway. This is the Ark Roofer blog, and we put ourselves at number one. We also put four competitors on the list with their real numbers. One has more Google reviews than we do. Three have an office inside Pflugerville, which we don’t. Check our math. If another roofer on this page is the better fit for your house, call them. We would rather you hire a good roofer than a bad one, even when it isn’t us.
The five at a glance
Every number below was checked on September 24, 2026 against BBB, the manufacturer’s own contractor directory, and Google. Google counts move every week, so treat them as a snapshot, not scripture.
| Company | Based in | BBB record | Google reviews | Top credential |
|---|---|---|---|---|
| Ark Roofer | GeorgetownSince 2018 | A+, accredited 2019, 0 complaints | Owens Corning Platinum Preferred | |
| Summit Roofing | Round RockSince 2019 | A+, accredited 2020, 1 complaint | Owens Corning Platinum Preferred | |
| Mpact Roofing | PflugervilleSince 2019 | A+, accredited 2019, 0 complaints | GAF Master Elite | |
| Aurum Roofing | PflugervilleSince 2005 | No BBB profile | None listed | |
| Performance Roofing | Pflugerville office, DFW companySince 1996 (Pflugerville office 2020) | A+, accredited 2021, 0 complaints | RCAT member, no manufacturer tier listed |
Checked September 24, 2026. BBB complaints use the three-year window.

How we ranked them
Five things, in this order.
- BBB record. Rating, accreditation, and the complaint count over the past three years. One complaint isn't a scandal. A pattern of them is. This is the one number a roofer can't buy or pad, so it carries the most weight. It also cost one popular local name its spot: a Pflugerville-area roofer with a 4.9 rating and more than 360 Google reviews carries a BBB grade of C and an unanswered workmanship complaint from May 2026.
- Reviews you can verify. We used the count on each company's Google Business Profile, not the number printed on its homepage. The roofer that sits at the top of Google's map results for best roofers in Pflugerville didn't make this list either. Strong reviews, but no BBB profile and no certification we could find anywhere.
- Certification tier. GAF and Owens Corning each run a top tier that a small share of contractors reach. Owens Corning calls it Platinum Preferred. GAF calls it Master Elite. We checked every claim against the manufacturer's own directory. A badge on a website doesn't count.
- What they can actually do. Shingle, metal, tile, flat roofs, gutters, siding, insurance claim help. More scope means fewer contractors on your project and one number to call if something leaks.
- Years and roots. Time in business and a physical office you can drive to. Storm chasers have neither. We gave extra credit for an address in Pflugerville itself, because a crew that's 10 minutes away shows up faster than one that's 40.
Anything we couldn’t verify, we left out. When a number comes only from a company’s own site, we say so.
Ark Roofer
That's usBest for: Insurance claims, whole-exterior jobs, and attic ventilation
Serves Pflugerville, Round Rock, Austin, Cedar Park, Leander, Liberty Hill, Dripping Springs and Lampasas.
Luke Secora is a fourth-generation contractor. His dad did every trade but roofing, so Luke learned that one himself, spent a year selling roofs for somebody else, and didn’t like the pressure he saw. In 2018 he started Ark Roofer out of his house. The company now runs more than 25 people out of a shop on Highway 29 and, by its own count, has put roofs on more than 3,200 Central Texas homes. Ark has been working Pflugerville since that first year, in Falcon Pointe, Blackhawk, Highland Park, Springbrook and the newer streets off Kelly Lane.
What earned the top spot is a combination nobody else on this list has all at once. Ark is an Owens Corning Platinum Preferred Contractor, the highest tier in that program, and took Owens Corning’s Top Performer award in 2025. It holds a BBB A+ with accreditation since 2019 and zero complaints on file. It carries Texas roofing license 03-0484 through the Roofing Contractors Association of Texas, which counts for something in a state that doesn’t require one. And Google has it at 4.9 stars across 515 reviews. Google’s own tally of what those reviews talk about is telling: 65 mention insurance claim help and 63 mention a thorough inspection.
The inspection is the other reason. Every job starts with a free ArkCertified inspection. A tech walks the ground, the roof and the attic, takes more than 100 timestamped photos plus video, and sends you a live-link report with an attic ventilation diagram. You keep the report whether or not you hire Ark. After a hail storm, that same report goes to your adjuster, and Ark meets the adjuster on the roof. It doesn’t file the claim for you or promise an outcome, and it says so up front.
Scope is the widest of the five. Owens Corning Duration shingles, standing seam and R-panel metal, synthetic slate and shake, tile, commercial TPO, seamless gutters, James Hardie siding, exterior painting, attic ventilation and solar attic fans, radiant barrier, and VELUX skylights. Platinum status also lets Ark offer the Owens Corning Platinum Protection warranty. It covers materials and labor for up to 50 years on qualifying installs, on top of Ark’s own 5-year workmanship guarantee. Ark files the warranty registration for you.
“We had a small leak coming through our ceiling, and we tapped Ark to come help us diagnose the issue. They were able to come out the very next day after we called them.” Benjamin C., Google, June 2026
If you want the cleanest complaint record, the top manufacturer tier and a state-association license in one contractor, this is it. If a five-minute drive matters more, the three companies below with a Pflugerville office are worth a look.
Strengths
- Top manufacturer tier, a clean BBB file since 2019, and a state-association license, all in one contractor
- Free ArkCertified inspection with 100-plus timestamped photos, video and an attic ventilation diagram you keep
- Owens Corning Platinum Protection warranty, materials and labor up to 50 years on qualifying installs
Keep in mind
- No office inside Pflugerville. The shop is about 25 minutes up I-35 in Georgetown
- Summit, at number two, has almost 200 more Google reviews
Summit Roofing
Best for: A lifetime workmanship warranty, metal, and the most reviews on the list
Serves Round Rock, Pflugerville, Austin and Central Texas, with crews as far south as Buda and Kyle.
Summit is the roofer with the most reviews on this page, 709 on Google at 4.9 stars, and it earned them fast. The company opened in May 2019, seven months after Ark did, and picked up BBB accreditation in January 2020. It is the only other company here that matches Ark’s two hardest credentials. One is Owens Corning Platinum Preferred status. The other is a Texas roofing license through RCAT, number 01-0591, which BBB lists on its profile. Summit’s office is on the east side of Round Rock, a short drive from Pflugerville, close enough that its crews work both towns without thinking about it.
The pitch is simple and residential. Free storm damage inspections, insurance claim help, Owens Corning Duration shingles including the impact-resistant Duration Storm line, standing seam metal, gutters, windows, fencing and painting. Summit advertises a lifetime workmanship warranty and a free roofing system tune-up, and it lets you book an inspection online through Square rather than waiting on a callback. That is a small thing until you have spent two days waiting on a callback.
“Summit Roofing has knocked it out of the park with our new standing seam metal roof! We wholeheartedly recommend Summit and their team to put the proverbial ‘roof over your head’.” Erica G., BBB
Summit is Ark’s closest rival on this list, and we are recommending them anyway. They earned the spot.
Strengths
- The only other company here with Ark's two hardest credentials: Platinum Preferred and an RCAT license
- 709 Google reviews at 4.9, earned in seven years
- Lifetime workmanship warranty and a free roofing system tune-up
Keep in mind
- One BBB complaint in three years, from April 2025, about a rep knocking despite no-soliciting signs. Summit apologized. It tells you they canvass after storms
- The site's 'more than a decade of experience' refers to the people, not the company. BBB dates the business to 2019
Mpact Roofing
Best for: A crew based inside city limits, GAF systems, and metal
Serves Pflugerville, Hutto, Round Rock and north Austin.
This is the hometown pick. Mpact’s legal name is Pflugerville Roofing and Exterior, LLC, its office is on South Heatherwilde Boulevard inside city limits, and it belongs to the Pflugerville Chamber of Commerce. It opened in January 2019, was BBB accredited by that July, and has an A+ with zero complaints since. On the certification side it is a GAF Master Elite contractor, the top tier in GAF’s program, and is certified to install FORTIFIED roofs, the insurance-industry standard that goes past building code. Google has it at 4.9 stars across 153 reviews.
Mpact does residential and commercial work: repairs, full replacements, metal roofs, and, per its recent reviews, fences too. It quotes same day or next day, offers financing, and puts a 10-year craftsmanship warranty on its work. Master Elite status also means it can sell GAF’s Golden Pledge warranty, which covers labor as well as materials. The reviews read like a small shop that answers the phone: a homeowner reached them on the Friday of Memorial Day weekend when nobody else picked up.
“Mpact got a tech out the next day to give us an estimate. It was $200 less than a competitor. They came the next day to repair, before expected rain.” Kathy G., Google, April 2026
Strengths
- Office on South Heatherwilde Boulevard, inside city limits
- GAF Master Elite, so it can sell the Golden Pledge warranty that covers labor
- Same-day or next-day quotes, and reviews that read like a small shop that answers the phone
Keep in mind
- Smallest operation in the top three. GAF lists the crew at more than five people
- We could not find an RCAT license for Mpact, so ask
Aurum Roofing
Best for: Repairs and tune-ups, Spanish-speaking service, and the longest local tenure
Serves Pflugerville, Round Rock, Hutto, Georgetown, Cedar Park, Leander and Austin. Roofing since 2005, per the company.
Search “roofers Pflugerville” on Google and Aurum shows up in the map results every time. We ran four different searches and it was in the top three on all four. The reason is a perfect 5.0 across 125 Google reviews and an office right on Pflugerville Parkway. Aurum is Latin for gold, and the owner, Jose, has been trading on that since 2005, which makes this the longest-tenured Pflugerville-based roofer on the list by a wide margin. Google’s tally of review topics counts 15 that mention reasonable pricing.
The menu runs past roofing. Replacement and repair in asphalt shingle, tile, standing seam metal and flat systems, plus siding, gutters, exterior painting and even window screens. The offer that stands out is a $99 Roof Tune-Up: a walkthrough to reseat popped nails and loose accessories before they turn into leaks. Aurum says it comes back every two years after an install to recheck its own work. The company also works in Spanish. Hablamos Español is right there on the homepage.
“We are beyond satisfied with the work and interactions we had with Jose. Communication was great, he let us know exactly what to expect and then met those expectations.” Dara C., Google, early 2026
Plenty of good small roofers skip the BBB. It does mean you should ask for the warranty in writing and a copy of the insurance certificate before signing, which you should do with everyone.
Strengths
- Perfect 5.0 across 125 Google reviews and an office right on Pflugerville Parkway
- Longest-tenured Pflugerville-based roofer on the list, since 2005
- Comes back every two years after an install to recheck its own work
Keep in mind
- No BBB profile at all, so there is no complaint history to check either way
- Names no manufacturer certification, and the warranty terms are not spelled out on the site. Get them in writing
Performance Roofing
Best for: Commercial, multifamily, and new construction
A Dallas-Fort Worth company roofing since 1996, with an Austin-area branch since 2020. Serves Travis, Williamson, Bell, Bastrop and Hays counties.
Performance is the one company here with a corporate parent. It started in McKinney in 1996, and the Pflugerville office on Grand Avenue Parkway opened in April 2020. BBB gives the Pflugerville branch an A+, accreditation since June 2021, zero complaints in three years, and five customer reviews averaging 5 out of 5. Google has the branch at 4.9 stars across 105 reviews. The company belongs to the Roofing Contractors Association of Texas. It is also on the Good Contractors List, a Texas program that says it protects member projects for up to $350,000.
Where Performance separates from the other four is commercial and multifamily. Shingle, metal, tile, TPO and PVC flat systems, new construction roofing, gutters, water and fire restoration, and a 24-hour emergency line. If you manage an apartment complex, an HOA, a strip center off FM 685 or a church with a flat section, this is the first call on this list. The company runs consultants in each county it serves and advertises a lifetime warranty on residential work.
“Performance Roofing is the best. They were recommended to me by our landscaper and I couldn’t be happier with the service and results.” Meghan G., Google, spring 2026
Ask which crew and which project manager will run your job.
Strengths
- The first call on this list for apartments, HOAs, strip centers and churches with flat sections
- BBB A+ for the Pflugerville branch, accredited since 2021, zero complaints
- On the Good Contractors List, which says it protects member projects up to $350,000
Keep in mind
- Parts of the Austin-area site still read like they were written for Dallas. The roots are 200 miles north
- No manufacturer certification tier listed, and the 'over 400 five-star reviews' claim appears to be company-wide, not Pflugerville
Which one fits your situation
Rankings are one thing. The right call depends on your roof, your street, and what went wrong. Here is the short version.
| Your situation | Start with | Why |
|---|---|---|
| Hail hit and an insurance claim is coming | Ark Roofer, then Summit | Both are Owens Corning Platinum and RCAT-licensed, and both document for adjusters. Ark has zero BBB complaints, and 65 of its Google reviews mention claim help |
| You want a roofer whose office is inside Pflugerville | Mpact, then Aurum | Mpact for a GAF Master Elite replacement with a BBB record behind it. Aurum for repairs, tune-ups and Spanish-speaking service |
| Roof plus siding, paint, gutters or attic ventilation on one job | Ark Roofer | James Hardie siding, exterior painting, solar attic fans and radiant barrier, all in-house. Aurum does siding and paint too, without the manufacturer tier |
| Commercial, multifamily, HOA, new construction, or anything with a flat section | Performance Roofing, then Ark | Performance does TPO, PVC and apartment work. Ark installs commercial TPO as well |
| Standing seam metal | Ark Roofer, Summit or Mpact | All three install it. Ask each for two local addresses you can drive past |
| A small repair or a checkup, not a replacement | Aurum or Ark Roofer | Aurum’s $99 tune-up reseats nails and loose accessories. Ark’s inspection is free, and you keep the 100-photo report either way |
| You want the most reviews and a lifetime workmanship warranty | Summit Roofing | 709 Google reviews at 4.9 stars, and a lifetime workmanship warranty on top of the Owens Corning one |
| A 2004-era roof that is just tired, no storm involved | Any two on this list | Get two bids. Ask both about Class 4 impact-rated shingles, and ask your insurer whether they earn a discount |
Whatever you pick, get two bids. A good roofer expects it.

Book a Pflugerville inspectionHow to vet any Pflugerville roofer, including these five
The Texas Department of Insurance and the Roofing Contractors Association of Texas publish nearly the same checklist. Boiled down, it is seven questions. Ask them of anyone who wants to touch your roof, us included.
- Where’s your office? A street address you can drive to, not a P.O. box and not a truck. Every company on this list has one within 25 minutes of Pflugerville. TDI’s advice after a storm is blunt: hire local.
- Can I see your insurance? General liability and workers’ comp, on paper, with the dates. If a crew member falls off your roof and the roofer isn’t covered, you may be.
- Do you hold an RCAT license? Texas doesn’t require one, which is exactly why a voluntary one means something. It takes two years running a Texas roofing company, $300,000 in liability coverage, passing exams, and eight hours of continuing education every year. Ark and Summit publish their numbers. Ask the rest.
- Will you put the whole scope in writing? Materials by brand and product name, tear-off, decking, underlayment, flashing, ventilation, cleanup, price, and the warranty terms for both the shingles and the labor. Blank lines in a contract are a no.
- How much do you want up front? TDI says never pay in full before the work is done. A deposit is normal. All of it is not.
- Are you offering to cover my deductible? If the answer is yes, hang up. Since September 1, 2019, it has been a Class B misdemeanor in Texas for a contractor to pay, waive, absorb or rebate an insurance deductible. That is up to 180 days in jail and a $2,000 fine. Your insurer can also hold back the depreciation check until you show proof you paid it.
- Can I have three addresses from the last year? Then drive past them. Roofs are the one purchase where you can inspect the seller’s work from the street.
And one tell that needs no question. If someone knocks the week after a storm and says they “happen to be in the neighborhood,” they are in the neighborhood because of the storm. Out-of-town plates, a push to sign tonight, and a request for cash are the rest of the pattern. Pflugerville gets this every spring, and it got a heavy dose after September 2023.
